Our Organization Key Work Areas
Human Relief International primarily helps people in need, makes plans to deal with disasters, and teaches people new skills. In addition to saving food and setting up clean water and energy sources, we want to improve access to sustainable ways to make a living, build and support healthcare facilities, and train skilled and vocational workers to protect the environment. We also offer workshops on sanitation, hygiene, and basic life skills to help solve health problems in communities around the world.
Family Sponsorship
Every family needs a reliable source of income in order to provide a happy and stable life for their children. Due to the economic downturn, people’s purchasing power has decreased, COVID-19 has changed the way businesses operate, and people have found new ways to earn money. In spite of this, millions of jobs have been lost as businesses have moved online rather than offline. It is common, for people to ignore the needs of others so they can deal with their own money problems. Consequently, a new class system has emerged.
While this is happening, many people who have fled their homes because of natural disasters, wars, or other reasons are committing suicide or waiting for assistance to get family financial assistance. There are several reasons why many family guardians are unable to pay their families’ monthly bills, as we have already discussed. Since people’s lives have become more complex, their needs have increased, their paying capacity has been limited, and their lives have become more problematic, they have become less motivated to help others. People with soft hearts help others when they are in need, either through nonprofit organizations’ charity programs or independently. We raise money every month through our family sponsorship program to provide food, clothing, medicine, utilities, and educational opportunities to needy families.
People in the United States and in developing countries such as India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka are helped by the HRI. As part of our mission and vision, we assist them in starting their own small businesses, which is one of our core values. It will boost the nation’s economy and fight hunger in communities when volunteers help them start their small businesses. We want to give money to poor rural women so they can start small businesses at home that will help them improve their lives. Having their own business will not only help them grow, but it will also help them fight poverty and raise their living standards, which are some of the lowest in the world for many reasons. A sponsorship program for families can make a big difference to children’s education, health, and living conditions, as well as their contributions to society and their country’s overall well-being.
